Anzac Day 'gunfire breakfast' at Vue

Come together with your close friends or family to honour the memory of those who fell in war.
The ‘gunfire breakfast’ is an Anzac Day tradition that evolved from when army troops were served cups of tea and coffee in the early hours of morning before going out on their first trainings. Today, the ‘gunfire breakfast’ is served after the Anzac Day dawn service that many communities attend.
Join us at Airways Hotel where we’ll serve coffee, tea and a tot of black rum, along with authentic turnip, potato and carrot stew, bacon, eggs, sausages and breads. Served with accompaniments such as grilled vegetables and hash browns.
